Where do I begin?
You already have! If you are reading this, it means you have already taken actions in searching for someone to work with you. Embarking on a journey of change and healing takes a lot of courage and you have already taken the first step towards change. How do I know if we are a good match?
We would be happy to answer any questions over the phone or through email. You will get a sense of whether we would be a good fit during a brief phone consultation. Our primary responsibility is to ensure that you feel safe and comfortable throughout the therapeutic process.

Do I need to do an intake session?
If you plan on doing regular couples counselling sessions, then the intake session is mandatory. You cannot have your first couples counselling session before first having your intake session.

What can I expect during the intake?
You can expect your therapist to introduce themselves and explain their methodologies. Second, you will provide a brief overview of why you are seeking therapy. Lastly, you will be set up with a very thorough premarital/marriage assessment that will need to be completed before first couples counselling session.

Why is the intake session $100?
You are paying for your therapist’s time as well as a mandatory premarital/marriage assessment. This assessment is provided by Prepare/Enrich and is a very thorough survey that both you and your partner will need to complete. The results of this assessment provide invaluable data to your therapist and they will use this information to guide future sessions.

Will my intake therapist continue being my therapist?
Yes, once you have selected your therapist for your intake session, that therapist will continue to be your therapist for the duration of your couples counselling.

Can I request a specific therapist?
You are more than welcome to select any of the therapists that are currently accepting clients. When booking your intake session, feel free to select from those therapists listed. If a therapist is not listed, that means their client load is full.

Do all therapists utilize the same approach?
All of our therapists utilize the same therapeutic methodologies and procedures ensuring the highest possible quality counselling experience. Irrespective of who your therapist is, you can expect a similar experience.

What is the length of counselling session?
Each session you book blocks off a 60 minute interval, whereby the therapeutic portion of the session is 50 minutes. The exception to this is the intake session, which is 20 minutes long.

What is the fee?
Regular therapy sessions are $190 per session. The therapeutic portion of the session is 50 minutes in duration.
Intake sessions cost $100 and only need to be once.

Do you accept insurance?
Yes we do, in fact, most insurers will provide coverage for our services. Please check with your provider to determine if they provide coverage for social work.

Do you offer in-person sessions?
Currently, we are only offering virtual sessions for both couples and individual counselling.
